Global Center for Health Innovation Adds TPA Stream as First Startup Tenant

The new member joins the facility’s growing mix of innovative healthcare companies.

CLEVELAND–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Global Center for Health Innovation (Global Center) announced today that Cleveland-based Health IT startup, TPA Stream, has joined the building as a new tenant. TPA Stream, which creates a web-based software to help streamline healthcare administration, will occupy 4,500 square feet in the unique facility.

“The Global Center is one of the nation’s most unique spaces for healthcare-related companies, and we’re excited to call this building our new home”

The addition of TPA Stream as a Global Center tenant represents continued momentum in BioEnterprise’s efforts to transform the building into an active innovation center where health systems, large healthcare corporations, investors and startups convene to collaborate and attack healthcare problems that can’t be solved independently.

TPA Stream is the first startup to move into its own space at the Global Center and joins other organizations such as BioEnterprise, Plug and Play and HIMSS, all of whom moved into or renewed their commitment to the Global Center in early 2018. Bringing startups, investors and corporations under one roof supports the vision BioEnterprise announced when it assumed responsibility for the Global Center’s strategy, marketing and tenant programming almost a year ago.

“We wanted to transform the space into a resource where healthcare organizations could convene, collaborate and advance their strategic objectives or develop new solutions,” said Aram Nerpouni, BioEnterprise President & CEO. “Critical to this process is the active collaboration between corporations, investors and startups. We’re excited to bring TPA Stream into the Global Center community and connect them to some of the sector’s biggest and most innovative thinkers. We have no doubt that their presence at the Global Center will be beneficial for TPA Stream and all tenants.”

As part of their ongoing strategy to convene and develop new solutions, BioEnterprise and the Global Center continue to engage healthcare thought leaders globally. Accenture Healthcare is partnering with BioEnterprise and the Global Center community to develop a data platform to assist community service providers attacking the opioid crisis. Roche and Accenture Healthcare conducted a digital oncology forum in the HIMSS Innovation Center with participation from the Global Center’s health system stakeholders.

“The Global Center is one of the nation’s most unique spaces for healthcare-related companies, and we’re excited to call this building our new home,” said Jacob Sheridan, TPA Stream CEO. “In the past few weeks, we’d had conversations with many other companies looking to join us at the Global Center. We’re excited to be a part of the Global Center community and look forward to working alongside fellow tenants to help them think differently and solve some of healthcare’s biggest issues.”
